• Quick intro to Vibe Coding: What it is, and what it is good for.
• Vibe Coding in Practice with Ben Joffe: Ben will showcase examples of useful and quirky tools built in minutes.
• Panel: “Old School × New School in the Tech World”
  • Ben Joffe – champion of rapid-iteration, Vibe-Coding-style development
  • Rui Ferrão – CTO of Code for All, defending battle-tested “craft-the-code” fundamentals
  • Renata Santos – AI Team Lead at NOS, adding the large-scale AI lens and hard-won project-management insights from Ireland and Portugal

🎯 What to expect from the event?

• Expect a lively discussion on legacy stacks versus AI-first culture, when you should refactor instead of rewrite, and which skills still matter when models write half the code for you. Audience questions are welcome throughout—onsite and online.

📖 But wait, what is vibe coding?

• The meme took off after a February 2025 tweet by AI researcher Andrej Karpathy: “There’s a new kind of coding I call vibe coding—you fully give in to the vibes, embrace exponentials, and forget that the code even exists.” Tech media quickly amplified the idea, and outlets like Business Insider and The Economic Times have since used “vibe coding” as shorthand for this AI-first workflow.
